On Monday bodaboda operators torched a lorry at Mogonga along Kisii –Kilgoris road.
This came after a lorry allegedly collided with one of the bodaboda operators in Kisii town and tried to escape but bodaboda riders chased and torched it at Mogonga.
Addressing the press on Monday at Mogonga, David Mokaya who witnessed the act said bodaboda operators from Kisii torched the lorry when the driver tried to escape.
“According to the information we have received from bodaboda riders is that the lorry was involved in an accident in Kisii town and injured one of the bodaboda operators,” Mokaya said.
“The riders were chasing the lorry and torched it here at Mogaonga but the driver escaped,” he added .
Mokaya challenged the Police officers to take their responsibilities and prevent such incidents from taking place time to time.
