Lottery company Lotto and automobile distributor DT Dobie on Thursday entered into a landmark partnership geared towards rewarding a lucky Kenyan with the most lucrative prize before the turn of the year.

The Power Drive Partnership pact will give the winner a life-changing opportunity as he or she will walk away with five sleek Volkswagen Vivos from DT Dobie and a further Sh1 million courtesy of Lotto.

What’s more, the sole recipient of the 1,400cc capacity vehicles in the promotion dubbed Gimme Five will receive fuel vouchers for each of them worth Sh50,000 each for one year, a comprehensive insurance and a three-year warranty.

The vehicles have excellent features and are emblazoned with the colors of the Kenyan national flag below the windows, making them an indigenous identity. According to Lotto Communications Director Dennis Muigai, all one needs to bid for the mouth-watering deal is to purchase a Sh50 Lotto ticket and click Lotto’s account 777000 and any time one plays, he will be entered into the draw pending the final and decisive one on December 13, 2017.

The deal was supposedly signed for Kenyans to realign themselves with their own products, besides changing their lives for the better by placing wagers on Lotto.

During the launch of the partnership at DT Dobie’s Volkswagen showroom, DT Dobie Managing Director Jan Middleton said the firm felt honored to partner Lotto in the noble venture, saying it will go a long way in enabling Kenyans to purchase vehicles that are assembled in the country.

“Volkswagen Vivo is assembled at our plant in Thika and the fact that we have entered into a partnership with Lotto will enable Kenyans to see and savor the product that has many features. The deal is also time to change the lives of Kenyans through betting,’’ observed Middleton.
