Former TV personality Louis Otieno, is once again appealing for KSh 4 million from well wishers to enable him regain hearing.
Otieno is currently depends on lip reading and written notes to communicate.
The fundraising drive, which is sponsored by Rahab Foundation, will kick off at 6 pm on Friday at Villa Rosa Kempinsky hotel.
he event will be the second one under three months after the initial appeal saw Kenyans join the family of Otieno to raise KSh 1.7 million.
"It is now time for a final effort to meet the required of KSh 4 million. Towards this, I invite you all to a fundraiser," he said.
According to doctors, Otieno would need to undergo ear surgery to replace inner parts of his damaged cochlea, but the process is expensive.
His painful journey caught the attention of NASA affiliated politicians led by Mbita MP Millie Odhiambo who pledged their financial support.
