Police in Rongai, Nakuru have launched investigations into an incident in which a woman was stabbed to death at Rafiki farm in Soin ward.

Morop sub-location assistant chief Susan Kimaiywa confirmed the incident.

She said the woman's husband who was 'escorting' her wife allegedly stabbed her to death.

The chief said the deceased, Eunice Wangari, was stabbed with a knife severally after she picked a quarrel with the suspect during the 7am incident.

After the incident, the suspect fled, the chief added.

According to an eye witness, Mary Nyambura, the suspect tried to attack her when she went to the woman's rescue.
