Uasin Gishu County Assembly Leader of Majority Josephat Lowoi has condemned MCAs for failing to show up in the county assembly forcing the house business to be postponed.
"I am disappointed with the Members of the County Assembly, how could they skip sittings?" he posed.
Speaking at the assembly on Wednesday, Lowoi said it's sad the house had to be adjourned for two days due to lack of quorum.
"I'm urging MCAs to take their Parliamentary work seriously, yesterday and today morning we had to adjourn sessions since we had less than 15 MCAs, therefore business could not continue," he said.
He however reminded them that they were elected by their electorate to represent them in the house and not to do their own business.
