Labour Party of Kenya (LPK) party leader Ababu Namwamba has downplayed speculations that the party has joined Jubilee and said that the party is fully independent and has not taken sides just yet.
Speaking during an exclusive interview with Citizen Digital, the former ODM party Secretary General made it clear that LPK has not yet decided on whom to support between Cord and Jubilee in the coming General Election.
This comes just days after his recent declaration in his Budalangi Constituency where he said that the party would enter into partnership with a coalition that will prove worth and development-oriented.
Ababu further accused the ruling Jubilee of arrogance and impunity, adding that they (Jubilee) will 'take Kenyans down the drain'.
He further threw blame at both coalitions, accusing them of engaging in debates over issues that only serve their selfish interests at the expense of the people of Kenya.
