Dr. Enos Moguku has been the lucky winner of a brand new Mazda Demio courtesy of Rift Valley Sports Club. Moguku, a member of the Nakuru-based member's only Rift Valley Sports Club won the first prize of the annual competition that has been running for over 20 years.
The club was established in 1907.The winner was handed over the keys by the club chairman Mr. Wilson Mango who congratulated him for the win on behalf of the board and the members in general. "I am very excited by the win. I hadn't imagined that I would win the top prize when I bought the ticket and I now that God for the win," said the winner as he received the key in the company of his wife. Other prizes that were won at the colourful members gala night included fridges, washing machines, coffee tables among other prizes. Other members were gifted payments for their annual members subscription fee, club parking fees and game room fees.
Each member pays Sh1000 monthly for parking within the club and a similar amount to access the sporting facilities. The Rift Valley Sports Club is one of the most prestigious club in Nakuru Town with membership being a highly sought affair.
New members must be proposed by existing members and seconded and if accepted must pay an upfront fee of Sh150,000.
