A section of members of the Luhya community living in Mombasa has slammed NASA leader Raila Odinga over his hardline stance on IEBC CEO Ezra Chiloba. The community members have since decamped from the opposition to Jubilee, saying they will support President Uhuru Kenyatta in his re-election bid.Led by Josphat Makhoha, the community members accused the former Premier of 'unfairly' targeting Chiloba, a Luhya, in NASA's push for reforms at the poll body ahead of the repeat presidential poll."We do not support the anti-IEBC demos because Chiloba is our son," said Makhoha as quoted by the Star.Makhoha led a Luhya delegation in a meeting at Tudor Secondary School on Monday to rubber stamp their decision.Raila Odinga has called for the resignation of Chiloba whom he accuses of bungling the August 8 presidential election which was annulled by the Supreme Court.Last month, a section of Luhya leaders led by former Webuye MP Musikari Kombo accused Raila of targeting members of the community. Both IEBC chairman Wafula Chebikati and Chiloba hail from the community.
