South Mugirango MP Manson Nyamweya and Kisii gubernatorial aspirant Patrick Lumumba have been challenged to team up and form a formidable alliance that can face incumbent governor James Ongwae.
According to South Mugirango parliamentary aspirant Silvanus Osoro, the duo can pull a serious challenge given their experience in leadership.
Osoro, who was speaking at Nyagenche primary on Wednesday, accused Ongwae and senator Chris Obure of failing to transform the county social-economically.
“I know if they agree to work together, they will comfortably win with a landslide come August. They have good political network that can do wonders," he said.
"They are young compared to other aspirants and I think their combination will deliver our county. It is my wish that this happens soonest," he said.
While Ongwae is a staunch supporter of Raila odinga's ODM, Lumumba will be going on a Wiper ticket while Nyamweya will contest from KNC.
