[Photo| Twitter]Brother to the late lunchtime hit-maker Gabriel Omolo Aginga, Maurice Okoth, has disclosed what killed his sibling.Omolo passed on on Wednesday while receiving treatment at the Busia County, Teaching Referral Hospital where he was admitted on Tuesday. According to Okoth, the veteran musician died after battling with tuberculosis and other ailments arising from road accidents he suffered.Speaking at the Busia hospital, Okoth further noted that his brother had brought fame to the country after being awarded best soloist in Africa in 1976.He also called on the government to support his family after losing their bread winner. "Our brother brought fame to the country in 1976 when he won an award for being the best soloist in Africa. The National Government should reciprocate that gesture by offering help to the family which has lost the sole bread winner. Many musicians have emulated Gabriel's talents. It will be worthwhile for the Government to reward such a hero whose checkered," said Okoth.
