A section of the Luo Council of Elders has threatened to seek redress from the court after NASA leader Raila Odinga 'meddled' with theirleadership.
According to the leaders, it was wrong for Raila to interfere with their issues.
This is after Mr Odinga met a section of the elders in an attempt to unite the council that has been having wrangles following the deathof the former chairman Riaga Ogallo.
Speaking at his Kendu Bay home in Homa Bay County, Mr Nyandiko Ong'adi threatened tosettle their leadership wrangles through the courts.
"We believe that we are the genuine members of the council and not the other group led byMr Otondi,” Mr Ong’adi said.
His sentiments were supported by his vice-chairman Thomas Achando and other Luoelders from Siaya and Homa Bay counties
"We respect Raila Odinga as our political leader, but he should desist from interfering with the leadership of the elders’ council,” warned Mr Ong’adi.
