Alfred Khang’ati, has applauded the Nasa principals for allowing the former Prime Minister to fly the coalition’s presidential ticket in the upcoming elections.
Nasa on Thursday, unveiled ODM’s Raila Odinga as the presidential candidate with Wiper’s Kalonzo Musyoka as his running mate at a rally held at Uhuru Park, Nairobi.
The Bungoma ODM governor aspirant expressed confidence that Nasa would form the next government since its leaders reflect the face of the Kenyan communities.
The gubernatorial hopeful said Raila was the best candidate to unseat president Uhuru Kenyatta adding that he was admired by majority of the youths and also the elderly
“I have worked with Raila in the office of the Prime Minister when I was the Internal Security minister. I know he is the best-suited to carry the mantle,” Khang’ati said, Friday.
He blamed the Jubilee government for failing to address the problems facing Kenyans such as tribalism, high cost of living and unemployment.
Khang’ati will battle it out with Ford Kenya’s candidate Wycliffe Wangamati and Jubilee’s Ken Lusaka for the Bungoma gubernatorial seat in the August 8 polls.
