[Photo/Standard]An M-Pesa agent died in Moyale on Wednesday evening after she was attacked by individuals believed to be robbers. Marsabit County commander Waciira Mathenge said the agent sustained deep cuts in the head."The robbers attacked the agent and killed her when she refused to give them money they demanded. The robbers escaped after the incident," said Mathenge.The commander said the agent was rushed to hospital by police and neighbors but succumbed to injuries. "She did not survive due to the injuries. She had deep cuts on the head and neck," said the commander.The police boss assured that police have launched investigations to bring the culprits into the book."Police are pursuing the suspects. Any member of the public with information should inform the police to ease investigations," noted Mathenge. Mathenge urged residents to be more alert not to be robbed during this December holiday.
