M--Shule was named the most promising start up in Kenya at the Seedstars summit held in Nairobi.
As a result the startup will have the opportunity to showcase their business at a Seedstars summit in Mozambique and Switzerland and compete against other global startups for the chance to win $1 million in investments and prizes.
M-Shule was one of 11 different startups to take part in the summit held last week at NaiLab.
M-Shule showcased their idea of improving learning for primary school pupils across the country through the use of Artificial Intelligence and SMS.
The startup was also given a free six month membership to the Nairobi Garage thus allowing them to develop their idea in a conducive environment.
BuuPass were runners up in the competition after showcasing their digital marketplace for train and bus tickets with the purpose of easing transportation.
ConnectMed, Jobsikaz, PortableVoices Creatives, Sokompare, The Konnector, TozzaPlus, WazInsure and BrillantPay were among the other startups to take part in the competition.
Seedstar world is now headed to Mozambique where local winners and startups will take part in a three day conference and showcase their ideas.
