Customers who have been trying to access their account balances and small loans on mobile lending platform M-shwari which is operated by the Commercial Bank of Africa (CBA) and Safaricom have been urged to be patient.

M-Shwari customers for the whole of Thursday lodged complaints with the telecommunications giant Safaricom and the CBA that they could not access their money balances on Mshwari. However they were met by a simple response that they should be patient as their issues were being resolved.

“Apologies for that. We are having a system issue with M-shwari that we are currently working to resolve and regret the inconvenience caused,” one of Safaricom’s response to a customer on the Facebook page.

“Kindly retry later when the system is back,” has been Safaricom’s message to its M-shwari customers since Sunday December 24th.

On Wednesday in an interview with the Business Daily, CBA Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Isaac Awuondo had said that they resolved the issue later on 24th something that has not reflected to its customers.
