Speaking in Gilgil town, Leah said that ever since the community started supporting Cord coalition, little gains have been seen.

“Since we started supporting Cord, little has been achieved for this community. The maasai community only came to be recognized during the Jubilee administration and now members of the community hold key positions in the current government,” she said.

Leah said that maasai people are not foolish adding that they will make an informed choice come 2017.

She added that when President Uhuru Kenyatta will be visiting Narok county next week, she will mobilize people to show solidarity with the government.
