Maalim, a Wiper candidate, said he will give Duale a run for his money, adding that there will be no competition between them when that time comes.

“I can assure you that it is not going to be a contest this time round but a rout,” he said, as quoted by the  Star.

The aspirant, however, cried foul of voter transfers from his strongholds- Balambala, Fafi and Ijara-which he said was being masterminded by National Intelligence Service (NIS) officers.

He said that the officers have been transferring voters from certain region to given Duale an upper hand in the race he has already won.

“These people have started executing some of their schemes. Some folks from the security machinery are busy trying to interfere with IEBC data,” he said, as quoted by Star.

He added: “We are seeing quite a number of cases of people, who have never applied for transfers, being transferred to other constituencies.’”
