The Wiper deputy party leader, Farah Maalim, has on Tuesday taken his time to explain why Miguna Miguna has been mistreated in a way he does not deserve.

Miguna is still being held at JKIA at Terminal 2 arrivals as per his lawyer Cliff Ombeta.

The NRM self-proclaimed General was almost re-deported last night but refused to board the Dubai-bound plane as he claimed that he was a Kenyan citizen and there was no way he could be forced out of his country of birth. Something Farah Maalim castigated so much.

According to Maalim. Miguna should and can not be taken away by virtue of his citizenship by birth.

"The mere fact that he has a birthright here he can not be taken away, there is a court order and under the new constitution, we have what is called dual citizenship. So refusing to respect the courts and to take out of this country somebody who has a birthright is not right," said Mr. Maalim.

Speaking during a morning TV show, Maalim said the move was undemocratic and the whole drama of forcing Miguna into the plain was uncalled for.

"That's not what democracy is all about, to take away the birthright of somebody, pushing him into a plane when he is saying this is my country!" he wondered.
