Wiper Democratic Movement (WDM) Deputy Party Leader Farah Maalim is now accusing the youth of taking the nation back.
In a tweet Saturday, the former Lagdera lawmaker took a swipe at the younger generation for allegedly spearheading stagnation of development in the country, saying that they are doing less to prevent and solve national shortcomings propagated by the higher placed Kenyans.
He bashed a section of the group, mostly consisting of unemployed individuals, for aiding the villains in their anti-developmental campaigns, condemning their alleged collaboration with the individuals for small favors.
''The tragedy of our Kenya is whenever serious issues are raised you have a bunch of unemployed youth who at a cost of a meal and some data bundles will hurl insults,'' said the former National Assembly Deputy Speaker.
Maalim observed that the group has for some time now assumed the responsibility of a weapon against opposers and any quarters that make an attempt to oppose the deeds, hitting out at them for giving in to the pressure at the cost of the nation's well being and their own future.
''Instead of protecting their stolen present and uncertain future, they opt to play as cheap keyboard mercenaries. Grow!!'' further reads the tweet.
