Garissa Township parliamentary hopeful Farah Maalim has said he is the best placed candidate to send the incumbent Aden Duale home, revealing that his main agenda will be development and not public gimmick.
Speaking at Madina neighborhoods in Garissa Town, Maalim said the current MP has never done much for the locals in his first three years at the helm, and so he should be sent packing.
“I am aware of some specific people who have been away from this town until when they heard that we had decided to change something about the situation,” he said.
He thus, called on the electorate to entrust him with the legislative seat, saying he was focused on development unlike Duale, whose major deals involve public relations.
“Garissa Township has not seen commendable developments as we had anticipated. Let us now unite and change how we transact business,” he issued.
