Former deputy speaker and former Lagdera MP, Farah Maalim, today revealed gut-wrenching details of what transpired behind the closed doors of a meeting held amongst the three NASA principals.
Hon. Maalim said that Raila told them that he had been offered billions of shillings so as to stop his push for electoral reforms.
''The handshake was not about saving Kenya but driven by personal interest. He told us in a meeting behind closed doors that he had been offered 5 billion, then he was offered 10 billion, then fifteen, up to 25 billion. This means that for that offer to be made there has to be a counteroffer,'' Hon. Farah Maalim said.
The former deputy speaker spoke today in a panel interview on a mainstream television station.
His shocking revelations come in the wake of great unease within NASA.
