In a tweet Thursday, Maalim wondered why ODM leader Raila Odinga failed to save Miguna from the suffering he underwent in the hands of immigration officials and the police, despite his newfound friendship with President Uhuru Kenyatta.

Miguna who jetted back into the country from Canada on Monday was barred from entering the nation over a traveling documents row with the immigration department, sparking a standoff at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA).

The situation culminated into a legal battle, which saw the vocal barrister harassed, detained at the airport and ultimately deported to Dubai, with the former Lagdera lawmaker now faulting Odinga for signing the deal that has since broken the opposition's National Super Alliance (NASA).

''Married as mpango was kando by Jubilee Party, then humiliated/abandoned in the most atrocious manner, some old NASA friends can Marshall the energy/audacity to condemn genuine reformists,'' he said.

''One can't cheat all the people all the time. The moment of reckoning for political frauds has come!!!'' further read the tweet.

Miguna is, however, not new to such, as he was in early February dramatically deported to Canada for participating in Odinga's controversial January 30 mock presidential inauguration.
