Wiper Democratic Movement-Kenya Deputy Party Leader Farah Maalim had stated that Wiper Democratic Movement and the other opposition parties are now united and will give a tough competition to the current government in power (Jubilee) in this year's elections.
"The Wiper Democratic Movement reiterates its commitment towards Opposition Unity. We are determined to forge one united front with our partner parties – the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM), Ford Kenya, the Amani National Congress (ANC) and all other progressive political parties to face and uproot the failed Jubilee regime in the forthcoming general elections," said Maalim.
In a press release, Maalim asked Kenyans for their support as they are determined and preparing to send home the Jubilee government which is accused of rampant corruption, tribalism and unfulfilled promises.
"We therefore urge all Kenyans to continue giving their unqualified political and moral support as we work towards redeeming this country from the rampant corruption, blatant tribalism and the gross ineptitude being perpetrated by the Jubilee regime," added Maalim.
Maalim is vying for Garissa Township Member of Parliament seat which is currently held by Majority Leader in The National Assembly Aden Bare Duale.
