Wiper Democratic Movement (WDM-K) deputy party leader Farah Maalim has dismissed claims that he wants to join Jubilee.
Speaking after losing a petition in which he was challenging the win of Garissa Town MP Aden Duale, also National Assembly Majority leader, Maalim said that he is tired of persons speculating that he wants to cross over to President Uhuru’s camp.
He argued that he knows what he is doing in politics and he is not ready to make a political blunder. He made the remarks on his Twitter account.
"Rest assured the appeal will overturn today's ruling. What pisses some of us is the constant talk of warming up to JP. Get it fast I never warm up to anybody!!.That's the hallmark of my politics for almost thirty years. I follow my values/principles or when one makes sense period," he stated.
He also said that he is aware of a National Super Alliance (NASA) leader who worked with his competitor Duale to ensure that he loses the petition challenging the outcome of the August General election.
Maalim had moved to court arguing that the outcome of the election did not reflect the will of the voters.
He argued that the exercise was marred by all sorts of illegalities and irregularities.
