Even as Deputy President William Ruto's war of words with the Orange Democratic Party (ODM) Deputy Leader Ali Hassan Joho further escalates, Garissa Township parliamentary hopeful Farah Maaalim has delivered his stand on the issue.
In what may appear as a justification to Joho's response to the Deputy President, the vocal ODM politician stated that the DP just received a proportional response from the Mombasa politician since the DP was in the habit of treating others with indignity.
"The beauty with life is that very often you reap what you sow. DP Ruto loves treating others with indignity and the Mombasa Governor Hassan Ali Joho just paid back in equal measure," Maalim stated.
In their verbal war of words, the ODM governor had described Ruto as a corrupt leader who cannot even account for any single shilling in his pocket.
“I can tell you my life history that the only difference between me and DP Ruto is only one. I am grateful to the almighty God that I am a business man, and right now if you ask me why I got this golden watch I am wearing on my wrist I will tell you because I am genuinely self-made man! William Ruto is a billionaire who cannot even tell Kenyan citizens how he got his wealth,” said Joho.
Joho has since dared Ruto to choose a reputable international audit firm of his choice to audit him to ascertain if he genuinely acquired his wealth.
