Maalim says that he will make sure that Duale does not make a comeback once he defeats him in next week’s polls.
Speaking to journalists in Garissa on Thursday, Maalim claimed that Duale has not done anything for residents for the time he has served as MP.
Maalim said that residents are fed up with the National Assembly leader of majority and will vote him out on August 8.
“My agenda is to send Duale to oblivion and liberate Garissa Township residents from poor rule,” he said as quoted by the Daily Nation.
Maalim said that he is the best candidate to push for development in Garissa. The Wiper party MP hopeful exuded confidence of beating Duale with a huge margin.
Maalim said that he has the numbers that will send Duale home by 8 am on Tuesday next week. Maalim and Duale are battling for the seat with the incumbent MP dismissing rivals.
Duale claims that Maalim is a political reject and has no space in the region’s politics.
The National assembly leader of majority has vowed to send Maalim into a 10 feet political grave where he will not come out.
