There have been claims that the Kalonzo Musyoka led party will dish out direct nominations to some aspirants.

Two weeks ago, Kitui senator David Musila, who is also Wiper chairman claimed that Kalonzo had allegedly endorsed Kitui governor Julius Malombe for re-election in the August general election.

Musila who has declared interest in the governor seat claimed that the party had asked him to drop his bid and instead seek re-election as senator.

Kalonzo has however dismissed the claims, saying that every aspirant seeking to contest on Wiper ticket will be endorsed through nomination.
