According to Maangi, the Kisii community has been voting in different political parties prompting the community to not benefit much from the national government.

Maangi accused those who keep faulting the Omogusii unity that brings some of Gusii leaders and politicians together to speak in one voice.

“In the next general election Kisii community will have their own political party that is going to be used as a party from our region,” said the deputy governor.

Maangi called on gusii leaders and politicians who have not joined the party to do so before the door closes so as to benefit much economically, politically and socially as a team.
