Kisii county deputy governor Joash Maangi has assured Kisii county residents of total security during the festive season.

Speaking on Thursday, at the Kisii county assembly, when he was lighting the governor's Christmas tree, Maangi told the residents to report any cases they suspect could threaten their security immediately to the security agents.

He was speaking as he also shared the Christmas season celebrations with orphans from various orphanages, street children and the less fortunate in the society.

He also urged the security agents to be more vigilant this festive season as some goons might use this time to engage in criminal activities.
