Kisii County deputy governor Joash Maangi has said that Kisii County will only be developed if elected leaders are united.
Speaking at Nyakoiba SDA church on Saturday, Maangi called on Kisii county elected leaders to form a unity block to deliver services to the electorates effectively.
“Development will not be realized if leaders are united. It is time we should unite to push the development agenda that we have and develop all constituencies and wards within Kisii County,” said Maangi.
Maangi promised to push the leaders to unite failure to which electorates should expect nothing.
“I am not going to rest until I see Kisii region leaders are united for the sake of development. I am committed to reaching to every MP and MCA in Kisii County irrespective of his or her political party so that we form a unity block," HE SAID.
He said that leaders and the people will gain a lot if they work together.
Mr Maangi has been at loggerheads with Dagoretti North Member of Parliament Simba Arati who has announced his interests in running for the county top seat.
