Kisii county Deputy Governor Joash Maangi has condoled with the two families which lost their relatives on Thursday at Daraja Mbili in Kisii town during the battle between the police officers and bodaboda operators.
Addressing the media on Friday at county offices Maangi condoles with the families by promising that a serious action will be taken against the suspects who shot the two business persons for justice.
“As the county government we are sorry for what happened on Thursday at Daraja Mbili where police officer alleged to have shot two innocent business ladies and we send our condolences," said Maangi.
Maangi assured businessmen in Kisii town and at Daraja Mbili to continue with their business and not to fear over what happened on Thursday
“The government is there and will continue providing security to all Kenyans including business men and let nobody who does business fear, security will be provided for all,” he added.
