Kisii County Deputy Governor Joash Maangi has told off a section of leaders who are questioning why his boss James Ongwae and him met DP William Ruto.
According to Maangi, the meeting was fruitful and will benefit residents of Kisii County.
“When we met DP Ruto at his Karen home we held an extensive discussion on a number of development issues in Kisii County and how best to align our development plans to the big four agenda,” he said.
Maangi also said DP Ruto promised to give Sh50 million to upgrade Etago Health center.
“DP Ruto assured us that he is committed to ensure his Sh50 million pledge for the upgrade of Etago Health Center is fulfilled so that locals can be access to affordable and quality health services in deep villages,” he noted.
Maangi added that Ruto said the national government will support Kisii County in the upcoming KICOSCA/CASA games slated for August this year.
Maangi and his boss Governor Ongwae met with DP Ruto on Tuesday in Nairobi.
