Kisii Deputy Governor Joash Maangi has been called upon to have his own political stand and stop double speaking.
Reacting to Joash recent press address, Ibeno ward representative Alfred Makori said that the deputy governor had lost focus and he needs to ensure he gets back his mind before it's too late.
“The deputy governor has in the past few months lost focus, he must be a greedy man who doesn’t have a political stand but who is looking on how he can gain and I call upon him to make good wise moves before it’s too late,” he added.
Makori said that they are looking into supporting someone who can stand firm wherever the wave is too high such as the current Kisii county governor who is still standing tall despite the various political tension.
“Governor James Ongwae stands to be respected because he has the qualities of a good leader and all we want is his deputy to imitate the same as that is what is called good leadership,” he added.
This comes barely hours after Maangi said he is either going to defend his current seat or go for the top county seat.
