Kisii Deputy Governor Joash Maangi says he regrets for having worked briefly with President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto.
In a rather shaky career, Mange worked with Jubilee and even acted as main point’s man before reuniting with his ODM party a month ago.
At Keumbu on Tuesday, Maangi poked holes at Jubilee regime’s track record in Gusii adding that it failed to deliver of a number of promises.
“They promised that we shall have road networks expanded to allow growth of our economy but that was just a campaign tool.
“I regret working with thankless people who are just out to cheat Kenyans. There is nothing substantial they have done for us and I don’t see the reason why they should campaign here,” he said.
Before his acrimonious fallout with Jubilee, the deputy governor was responsible for numerous trips made by DP Ruto in the region.
He had his expulsion from ODM party overturned after facing the wrath of disciplinary committee a couple of months ago.
