Kisii county Deputy Governor Joash Maangi has dismissed rumors that his office was locked when he was expelled from ODM party early this week.

Addressing the press on Thursday in his office, Maangi said that he is still in office faithfully serving residents as their Deputy governor.

According to Maangi who was expelled from ODM party for association with the Jubilee Government, he said that working with the government of the day is a constitutional right.

“There are rumors all over that my offices were locked. I want to assure residents that my office has not been locked and I am there serving them and I will remain loyal to Kisii county residents,” said Maangi.

Maangi added that being expelled from ODM party is a non-issue to him and he will continue working with the Jubilee government since it is his constitutional right and for the better of Kisii County.

He was among the 10 ODM members who were expelled from the party for associating with the Jubilee Party.
