Kisii county Deputy governor Joash Maangi has said that the Omogusii Unity will be a better unite when it includes people from both Kisii and Nyamira Counties, and those in the Diaspora ahead of next year's general election.
Addressing the media on Tuesday at Kisii sports Club Maangi said the Omogusii unity is for all people regardless of where they are coming from.
“Despite the challenges we are facing from those who are opposing us, we want to assure them that they will not succeed, we have decided to come together so that we can bargain for the national cake,” he said.
Maangi who is also the Secretary to the team said that people should prepare for the change come 2017.
According to him, he has done a crucial role since he led a delegation of people from both Kisii and Nyamira counties to Sugoi DP president’s home and has managed to take some people to State House including the MCAs.
“We have been visiting our leaders where we have been asking for many developments so I didn't see nothing wrong when we are coming together as the community in the benefit of getting more,” he added.
