Kisi county Deputy governor Joash Maangi has called upon trouble makers to keep off his functions if they won’t give good ideas that will unite and develop the county.
Speaking after meeting Enyakwana Minto Welfare Association at Kisii sports club on Wednesday Maangi said that in the past few days there have been youths who wanted to bring trouble in their functions of which he won’t tolerate.
“Most of the youths in the area I am sure have been bribed and on my side, I won’t allow that as I will engage the police to ensure they keep the peace,” he added.
He called upon all politicians in the area to hold their campaigns peacefully and above all ensure they unite the community.
“There’s no need to create tension among residents. What is required from each politician is to sell policies in an amicable manner and people of Kisii will decide who they want to lead them,” he added.
He noted that he will not participate in a function where he is not invited, saying he will always respect other people’s plans.
