Kisii County deputy governor Joash Maangi has asked the Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang'i to sack all chiefs who were not able to arrest illicit brew dealers in their areas.

Mr Maangi said some chiefs were not keen to end the menace even after Dr Matiang'i directed that they ensure they arrest such dealers. 

"His order is yet to be implemented by most of the chiefs in the county. For that reason I ask him to find out why and take action against them," he said. 

According to him, majority of youths who have been productive had turned to be drug addicts.

 He was speaking at Suneka area where he ws crowned as the scout partron in Kisii County.
