Agriculture PS Richard Lesiyampe has urged the Maasai community to vote for Jubilee during the August elections.
The PS was speaking at Oloontare in Trans Mara West sub-county, Narok county, on Sunday.
The leader called on Maasai community in Narok, Kajiado, Samburu, Laikipia, Marsabit, Baringo and Nakuru counties to support the current regime due to its development record.
Lesiyampe said the community will only be respected if its voters go to one basket.
"The Jubilee government under President Uhuru Kenyatta and Deputy President William Ruto has the best interests of the Maa community at heart. Nobody should cheat any of you to vote for the opposition because we risk being out of government for five years, which would be disastrous," he said.
