But in a quick rejoinder the chief officer ministry of tourism, sports and culture and cooperative development Kennedy Ouma in a letter dated October 17, accused Musyoki of ferrying carbo stones, metal bars, restaurant seats and other construction materials for private use.

Ouma also accuses Musyoki of conspiring with suppliers to inflate costs so as to receive kickbacks. The letter also says Musyoki's files has been forwarded to the relevant authorities and he should be ready when called upon.

Musyoki through his Facebook responded by saying, "This is a poorly crafted afterthought as a reaction to my resignation. The letter has been backdated and hurriedly rushed to my former office to be received. I understand they even tried to forge my signature in vain. Anyway, if that's the direction they would want us to take, am equally ready for them."
