A high court in Machakos county handling a petition case against the victory of Machakos senator Boniface Kabaka has ordered the safety of ballot papers kept in a government warehouse which will be produced in court as evidence.
Justice David Kimei fixed the November 8 as the date when both parties including the court would proceed to the warehouse to ensure the ballot boxes are safe.
Mr Musyoka Kala, one of the candidates for the senatorial race in Machakos county on Wiper ticket is challenging the election of Mr Boniface Kabaka where through his lawyers has produced some evidence towards the nullification of Kabaka's election.
The court also set November 27 to 30 as the hearing of the case.
