Machakos county First Lady Lillian Ng'ang'a has called for concerted efforts from all Kenyans in the fight against cancer.

Speaking on Wednesday during the launch of Kenya Cancer Association's Strategic Plan 2016 - 2018, Ng'ang'a said it was up to every Kenyan to join in the fight against cancer through creation of awareness and aliveness. 

"Cancer is on the increase globally and Kenya is sure not an exception. It is up to every Kenyan to ensure that we keep talking about it. It is a conversation that all of us must join," she said. 

"I appreciate all stakeholders working towards a Cancer free Kenya and I urge all of us to do our part by being advocates," she added.
