Machakos county First Lady Lillian Nganga has marked this year's Easter by visiting the Machakos school of the deaf.
Speaking shortly after sharing a light moment with the children, the first lady urged the Machakos residents to share with the needy during this Easter holidays.
"Share with children from Machakos school for the deaf this Easter. So much life and love. I urge us to touch a needy child's heart this Easter Holiday and make a difference in their life in whichever way," she said. "Put a smile on their faces," she added.
Easter, which celebrates Jesus Christ’s resurrection from the dead, is one of the most important days in the church calendar.
It has been called a moveable feast because it doesn’t fall on a set date every year, as most holidays do.
