Hundreds of Jubilee aspirants in Machakos are now targeting seventy percent of all Ukambani votes to Jubilee in the next year's general elections.
"People are tired of false promises, they want to join the government," said Fridah Wendo Matungulu West-ward aspirant.
Addressing members of the press after holding the 3rd Jubilee aspirants convention at Scott university conference center Machakos, the aspirants also outlined the progress they have made so far in popularizing the party.
"Jubilee Party in Machakos is now attracting more aspirants equipped with ideologies to progress the community," said Eric Mumo Chairperson Aspirant Caucus.
"Compared to 2013, the number of aspirants has tripled," he added.
Jubilee won only one county assembly seat and managed ten percent presidential Vote in Machakos county but things now seem to be different.
"The trend is changing as evident by the increase in membership and the growth of aspirants under Jubilee Party ticket," said Kioko Senate Aspirant.
The aspirants also held a strategy and a planning session on popularizing Jubilee party. Lead by Former Kibwezi Member of Parliament Kalembe Ndile, the aspirants congratulated the President and the deputy for the successes in developing and uniting the country so far.
