Machakos County governor Alfred Mutua has hinted on possible bilateral trade ties with Kericho County.
Speaking on Thursday in Kericho county during a benchmarking tour, Mutua said the two counties are putting in place workable frameworks to ensure long-term trade relations.
"The proponents of devolution envisioned counties playing a huge role in developing the nation through partnering and even trading together," he said.
"We are playing our bit and we are putting in place structures to enable the two counties trade," he added.
