Machakos members of county assembly who attended the burial of Kangundo north Member of county assembly's brother has faulted Machakos governor Alfred Mutua over development projects in the county.
They alleged that the county government has not done enough for the people of Machakos since its inception in 2013.
The MCAs spoke angrily and accused governor Mutua of being biased in development projects.
They said the governor is burying his head in the sand by starting projects that only benefit the elite in the society while turning a blind eye to the real problems faced by the 'common mwananchi' at the grassroots level.
They have put the governor to task to explain what the county government of Machakos has done with over Sh 25 billion disbursed to it since 2013 by the national government.
Led by Ndalani ward MCA, they expressed their dissatisfaction at the way the governor is dispatching his duties.
