Machakos Town MP Victor Munyaka has dismissed the Kamba leaders' unity meeting convened in Machakos County on Monday.
Speaking to journalist's in Machakos Town on Tuesday, the Jubilee MP termed the meeting fake.
Munyaka claimed the leaders who attended the meeting engaged in chest thumping and failed to deliberate on issues facing the community and Kenyans at large.
The legislature who was among politicians who snubbed the meeting argued it is not time to chest thump and broker selfish political deals.
"The Monday meeting was a mockery and I don't regret skipping it," Mumyaka said.
Munyaka said a serious and consultative meeting involving all Kamba residents, business community, the clergy and leaders should be convened.
He said time has come for the community to kick out leaders who are only driving their selfish agenda.
The Machakos MP also laughed off the endorsement of Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka's 2022 presidential bid.
Munyaka said the endorsement was fake as it did not come from all the Kamba community.
He asked residents from Makueni, Kitui and Machakos Counties to be wary of politicians who want to use them for their own personal gains.
The Monday's meeting endorsed Kalonzo's 2022 presidential bid.
The leaders also gave Kalonzo the nod to meet, negotiate and dialogue with President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto on matters of national unity.
