Machakos peoples park director has today resigned citing frustrations in his work.
Mesh Musyoki noted that it has been frustrating to run the park without budgetary facilitation adding that he considers it improper to continue accumulating debts with no clear payment plans by the county government to honor the debt obligations.
In his resignation letter, Musyoki noted that he regrets having participated in the impoverishment of various people who invested in legitimate supply opportunities for commercial value.
"The fact that people's livelihood have been shattered as a direct result of county government's commitments to them on genuine commercial contracts in which I played an active role in is itself morally disturbing," read the letter.
