The Machakos County professionals have questioned the non-inclusive leadership style of governor Alfred Mutua.

Speaking on Tuesday in 680 hotel in Nairobi, Senator Muthama who had attended a proffesionals convened meeting by the Machakos proffessionals, criticized numerous development projects that have all failed. 

"We should seat and discuss priorities of a sub-county, for example a general hospital, we deal on the project until its complete unlike what we have seen many projects launched but they never see the completion," said Muthama.

Many of the proffesionals who had attended the meeting seemed to mainly differ with the development projects handling in Machakos County. 

Among them was the former County Council chairman Christopher Muindu from Mbiuni area who stated development would be more successful with involvement of residents suggestions. 

The CCU party Leader Wavinya Ndeti who was also present stated that the leaders who have worked in the government previously and have experience should have been considered for their professionality and experience. 

The deputy governor Bernard Kiala stated that the professionals had stated their dissatisfaction with the current state of Machakos County. 

"We have heard our own professionals confess they are not satisfied with the current leadership because od corruption and misuse of funds," said Kiala.

The Machakos professionals stated their main objective was to ensure Machakos County devolution leadership was used to change machakos positively.
