Mwangangi said the governor should follow the due procedure in nominating the county executives by selecting liable ones.

She spoke during a media breakfast at a hotel in Machakos town on Tuesday.

Mwangangi said the acting county executives cannot execute any development projects since they are in office illegally.

She said five more CECs positions are still vacant since they should be ten county ministers though Mutua wants to retrain names of the five rejected ones.

"Even if the assembly accepts the five names there are five empty positions which need to be filled," Mwangangi said.

Mwangangi said the governor should swiftly appoint the ministers to ensure development is achieved.

"The assembly passed the supplementary budget and the money should be put to use, but how and yet we don't have ministers to do development projects," Mwangangi added.
